Here’s the scoop:
A humidifier basically puts moisture into the air. This is especially important when the air is dry and someone may be dealing with respiratory issue.
A diffuser, on the other hand, is (specifically and ultra-sonic diffuser) doesn’t put the same amount of moisture into the air, but is a way to disperse essential oils aromatically in a room. An ultra-sonic diffuser preserves the beneficial properties of these plant based essential oil compounds, so that we get a more concentrated aroma and the cleansing benefits.
So how about a two-in-one? doTERRA has the DAWN diffuser which is ALSO A HUMIDIFIER.
What I love:
It’s super easy to clean (unlike your typical humidifier) and you can easily control the mist output. The essential oil aroma is much more pronounced with the diffuser technology at the base.
