EMI remember dreaming about everything that I have accomplished now just a few short years ago. It’s amazing how far hard work and dedication can take you. I am forever grateful for my start in embroidery on my single needle embroidery machine out of my dining room. This was the time that I needed to realize that this is what I really wanted to do. I never recommend starting out on a multi needle. You need to build up your customer base first on your single needle. My approach has never changed because if you get a $15,000 multineedle, who are you going to sell to? Most people who dive into embroidery without having a plan with actionable steps, machine will just sit and not make them any money. Or they will end up selling their multineedle within the 1st year. I cannot tell you how many people are in my DMs asking me how to work their machines.
My recommendation if you are working with a small budget: purchase a single needle embroidery machine, find an embroidery niche (one that is not over saturated) to specialize in, if you need additional help - take my single needle embroidery course, open up an ETSY and Shopify, advertise, and make content around your designs or embroidery services.
