This was during the Reinventing the Steel tour, which would ultimately be the final world tour for the original lineup. While the set was known for Phil Anselmo’s raw and erratic energy, Dimebag Darrell was at a technical peak, delivering some of the most precise and soulful performances of his career. The professional broadcast of this show, often titled “Killing in Korea,” became legendary among fans for capturing Dimebag’s tone with surgical clarity.
The “Floods” solo is widely considered Dime’s magnum opus, consistently ranked among the greatest guitar solos in metal history.
