AR🧿 Following My Passion: My Journey in Resin Art
I am Padmakshi Bhandary. In 2020 covid time, I began my journey as a resin artist in Mysore, stepping away from the corporate world to pursue my passion. While filled with excitement, I also faced doubts and fears—would I succeed in turning my creative dream into reality? Despite these challenges, I embraced the craft of resin art, offering unique and meaningful keepsakes.
Over time, I expanded my services to include Varmala preservation, baby keepsakes, and wedding and birthday return favors. These personalized items quickly resonated with my customers, and orders began to flow in through word of mouth. However, relocating to Kundapur, a small town near Udupi, raised new questions—would this move limit my opportunities? But, to my surprise, the work I had done previously helped me continue to grow.
In May 2023, my work was featured in The Times of India, a surreal moment that proved that success can come from anywhere, no matter how small the city. As my business continued to evolve, I introduced a new venture: breastmilk and DNA preservation jewelry. This has been a deeply rewarding part of my journey, connecting with clients on a personal level.
One of the proudest milestones in my journey was when I was entrusted by Suryakumar Yadav’s sister Dinal to preserve her varmala. Suryakumar Yadav is one of India’s most talented cricketers, widely admired for his consistency and flair on the field. His sister’s trust in my work was a humbling and defining moment for me. It made me realize how far I had come and how dreams can truly come true with hard work and passion.
