Because I was chasing the WRONG metric. I thought engagement meant success. I thought likes equal income. I thought comments equal clients. They don't. Engagement is vanity. Revenue is sanity. You can have 100,000 followers and make nothing. Or you can have 5,000 followers and make six figures. The difference? Strategic content that actually CONVERTS. Every post should have a PURPOSE: Grow your email list. Drive sales. Book calls. Position your authority. Stop creating content for likes. Start creating content for INCOME. Vanity metrics make you feel good. Revenue metrics make you money. Focus on what actually pays your bills.
