We had an unforgettable encounter with a pod of about 100 Atlantic spotted dolphins! Conditions were absolutely beautiful (okay… a little chilly 😅), but totally worth it. These playful little speedsters stuck with us for a while, racing the wake off the bow and putting on the best show.
Fun fact: Atlantic spotted dolphins are super social and travel in large pods like this—and those iconic spots? They don’t even have them when they’re born. The freckles come with age!
They kept us out a little longer than planned getting back to the dock… but not a single person complained. Moments like this are why we do what we do 💙
