BEI had the chance to work as the camera motion control operator on this unique project, using my DIY multi-axis camera rig. With the rig hanging from the ceiling, we were able to create almost any camera move we imagined without worrying about the rig getting in the way of the set.
The smoothness of the move-shoot-move system was incredible, and the repeatability allowed us to capture clean passes every time.
I’m grateful for the flexibility and openness of the two amazing co-directors @thecrooker and @nihildeclarandum , who were willing to experiment with different camera moves that ended up working beautifully in the final animation.
These beautiful images wouldn’t have been possible without the great lighting and cinematography by @nick_shamblott and @j_holtane . I learned a lot from them in just three days of working together.
Shout-out to the talented animators @just_dan_ok , @ztolchinsky , and @analogatelierart for bringing everything to life in such a wonderful way.
