ISFor me, Drag Path means so much...
I think it's a reminder that death, sin... “the adversary” stalks us all the time. That there are paths that seem impossible to traverse on our own because someone is dragging us back. And that's how it is, we are fragile, weak, and alone we cannot get out of there...
But there is a stronger reminder: the enemy has already been defeated. Jesus came to meet us and had his own “drag path” that was meant for us. He suffered the cross, not because he deserved it, but out of love. For you. For me.
The only way to avoid “dragging ourselves along the ground” is when someone lifts us up, or when someone carries us in their arms. And Jesus is willing to do that. He wants to do it. He offers us his help, his salvation, his love. Not so that we walk alone, but to rescue us when we can no longer go on :)
