LUCertain fabrics, especially lightweight cotton sarees, are often said to be “not plus-size friendly.”
But the truth is, most of the time it’s not the saree.
It’s simply the draping technique.
Once you understand the basics of how fabric moves on your body, a few small adjustments can completely change the drape.
A saree is meant to follow the body and celebrate its shape, whatever that shape may be.
In this video, I’ve shared two small draping tips:
• how to create hip pleats for structure
• how to secure the chest pleats so the drape stays neat and comfortable
Because the right draping can make any saree feel effortless.
