JUPart 1 testing the @xppen_de Magic Drawing Pad.
Throughout my illustration career I’ve pretty much tried it all: those basic tablets that have to be plugged into a computer, the fancy display tablets I convinced my boss to purchase for me, and iPad.
So I picked up the Magic Drawing Pad trying to be open-minded, and honestly, I really liked using it. The tablet itself feels quality, sturdy and premium, screen is matte, which is great for drawing, and it performs well, too. I installed as many apps as I could (thank you for your recommendations!), and here are my favorites:
• SketchBook
• Vector Ink
The tablet went through a whole move with me to another city, got buried in boxes, and when I finally unpacked everything and turned it on, it was still alive! So I took it with me to the nearest coffee place to finish the video 🫶🏼 I hope you found it useful!
