BLThis is the most accurate way I have found to pre-set a boring head. The initial bore is cut then measured with the spindle probe. The boring head is adjusted based on the probing results. In this case, the adjustment was easy thanks to the electronic Big Kaiser boring head and phone app.
Repeat the cut and measurement until the bore is dialed in.
