βAmaranthineβ β the self titled track of the record was the last to be recorded, and almost didnβt make the record at all. Mixing and Mastering was completed on the original 8, leaving only this and βGlimmersβ to be done. I had a stroke of inspiration over the course of a weekend and produced this and the aforementioned song on my Korg Opsix, which was newly acquired.
I originally wanted to make this climaxes of the song much more epic, but felt that it would diminish the heights reached by the final song of the record.
Amaranthine serves as the first part of the climax and epoch of the record. A final obstacle to true closure and resolution.
