This nucleus contains most of the atom's mass. Electrons: Electrons are negatively charged particles that orbit the nucleus in specific layers or energy levels. In Bohr's model, these levels are well-defined, and electrons can move between levels by absorbing or emitting energy in the form of photons. Quantum Models: Following Bohr's model, more advanced models incorporating quantum mechanics principles were developed. Let's start discussing atomic orbitals, wave functions, eigenstates, Hilbert space, Heisenberg's uncertainty principle, radial distribution functions, etc. Etc.
