On August 12, 2026, Iceland will be in the path of a total solar eclipse. For a few minutes in the late afternoon, the sky will go completely dark, the sun will vanish, and if you’re lucky you’ll see the sun's glowing solar corona around the moon. 🌑
It’s one of nature’s rarest shows… and I couldn’t think of a more beautiful place to experience it than Iceland.
But because of it, the country is going to be PACKED.
Hotels are already booking up, rental cars are running low, and demand is only going to skyrocket.
If you want to be here for the eclipse (or even if your trip dates are close to it), here’s what to do:
