FRPedro Winter - @edbanger remembers the exact moment, in June 1996, when Daft Punk asked him to manage them. At only 21, he stepped into a role that would shape the global spread of French electronic music. Winter stayed with Daft Punk until 2008, then founded Ed Banger Records — a label that went on to define the sound of a new generation.
With Justice, Mr. Oizo, Breakbot, Uffie, SebastiAn and more, Ed Banger became the driving force of the 2000s electro wave, exporting the French Touch spirit worldwide. The label continues to discover and elevate new talents: @mydsound - one of its brightest stars, saw his single The Sun go Gold and has just released his second album Mydnight (2025), a more club-focused project featuring Channel Tres, Trueno, Carlita, and Calcutta.
