Not all embryos are created equal… but not in the way most people think. 🧬 When you hear something like “5AA” or “3BB,” it’s describing how an embryo looks under the microscope not whether it will become your baby. Here’s what matters 👇 ✨ Grading = appearance ✨ PGT-A = genetics (chromosomes) And those are NOT the same thing. I’ve seen: → “perfect-looking” embryos that were genetically abnormal → “average” embryos that became healthy babies We also look at timing: ✔️ Day 5 embryos (faster development) ✔️ Day 6 embryos (still very strong) ✔️ Even Day 7 embryos which can absolutely work, especially if they’re genetically normal 👉 The biggest misconception?
