RE🎨 Save for your next painting project ⬇️⬇️
Ok, you made it through the hard part—you picked your paint color—but now you need to pick your sheen! So what sheen should you use where?
Here’s our go-to:
For walls, we use an eggshell finish 🥚. It has just enough shine to make cleaning easier than a flat finish.
For doors and trim, we go with either satin or semi-gloss depending on the project. I prefer satin because it’s not too shiny yet still gives the durability you need for doors and trim ✨. If the client needs extra durability, we opt for the semi-gloss.
For ceilings, we typically choose flat or eggshell. And if your ceiling is the same color as your walls, then just go ahead and do the eggshell finish on both!
These are great guidelines to follow but of course each project has its own needs.
