One of the coolest things about light is the principle of superposition, where multiple waves can overlap in the same space. When two light waves meet, they don’t block or cancel each other— instead, they combine. If the peaks of both waves line up, they create a bigger wave in what’s called constructive interference, making the light brighter. But if a peak meets a valley (a crest and a trough), they cancel each other out, leading to destructive interference, which can actually create darkness! How to fix both problems: 1. Use your electronic device while grounded outside (not via a grounding mat) to neutralize the body voltage. 2. Check the PWM dimming frequency of any device you buy. E-Ink has no flicker, nor does RLCD. LCD tends to be better than OLED, but it's always device specific. Macbook Airs are notorious for not having any flicker. I've measured them myself. Note that Wifi and other forms of wireless communication are still problematic. It's just that radiofrequency (RF) is different from electric fields (EF), and I was measuring EF, not RF.
