Thank you for this incredible insight into an embryo transfer 📸@carried.with.love Transfer day is the day is the stage in the IVF process when you cross everything (apart from your legs) and pray that your beautiful little embryo settles in and starts to grow. Sadly, those little embryos don’t always implant first time though as we are sure so many of you know. There is a very interesting article if you head to IVFbabble.com entitled “What factors are key to a successful embryo transfer?” By Dr. Lenka Hromadova, Head Physician at the Repromeda clinic. In it, the doctor answers our questions such as.. In preparation for transfer day, what can you do to help ensure you have a top quality embryo and a perfect lining? Key factors are high performance standards of the entire IVF clinic, use of top quality materials and frontier equipment and ultimately qualified personnel. Very important are also precise preparation for oocyte collection, good-quality embryo culture and evaluation of the embryo’s morpho-kinetic parameters and its genetic status. Prior to the transfer itself, the endometrium should be well prepared, preferably by determining the implantation window by using the ERA method. Read the article to read the answers to these questions: What factors are key to a successful transfer? Can you as a patient improve the quality of your lining? If yes, how? Can you explain what assisted hatching is? Can this assist in the implantation of an embryo? What are your thoughts on embryo glue? What are your thoughts on the importance of keeping your body warm during transfer? If today is your transfer day, we send you so much love and strength. #infertility #infertilityawareness #infertilitysucks #iui #journeytobaby #unexplainedinfertility #ttc #tryingtoconceive #pregnancy #ttcsisters #infertilityjourney #ivfsupport #ivfwarrior #ivfcommunity #infertilitysupport #fertilityawareness #miscarriage #infertilitywarrior #surrogacy #surrogatesofig

After embryo transfer, some early signs can gently hint that your IVF cycle may be successful.🙋🏻‍♀️ Let’s understand them✌️ ☑️Increased urination If you notice frequent bathroom visits or the urge to urinate more often,it can be due to pregnancy hormones activating the kidneys early on. ☑️Mood swings Feeling emotional, irritated, teary, or suddenly low? Early pregnancy hormones can cause quick mood changes - and this is very common. ☑️Light spotting between Day 7-10 A small amount of pink or light brown spotting about a week after transfer can be implantation bleeding - a strong early pregnancy sign ☑️Mild lower abdominal cramps A light pulling or period-like cramping sensation that can happen when the embryo is settling inside the uterus. This is usually normal. ☑️Sudden tiredness or excessive sleepiness Feeling unusually tired, heavy, or sleepy all day? Early hormonal shifts can cause fatigue even before a pregnancy test turns positive. 🤍IMPORTANT NOTE: If you feel one or more of these signs, chances may be strong but even if you feel NONE, pregnancy is stil possible😊 Every body responds differently after embryo transfer. The most important thing? Stay relaxed, stress-free, and follow your doctor’s advice until the blood test👍🏻✅ #doctorsherpa #gynaecologist #ivf #embryotransfer #mythvsfact

You’ve had your embryo transfer in IVF. Now begins the two week wait and the flood of advice and myths that make it even harder. Let’s clear up what’s actually true. If you have doubts during this waiting phase or need reassurance, speak to your fertility expert at 9390501362, visit your nearest Ferty9 branch, or check www.ferty9.com for trusted guidance. MYTH 1: Staying on bedrest improves success, and movement can reduce chances TRUTH: Movement won’t make your embryo fall out. Resume normal activities. Just avoid heavy lifting and intense exercise. MYTH 2: You can test early TRUTH: Testing before day 10 to 12 gives false negatives or detects chemical pregnancies. Wait the full 14 days for accurate results. MYTH 3: Symptoms mean you’re pregnant TRUTH: Cramps, sore breasts, fatigue are usually progesterone medication effects, not pregnancy signs. Symptoms are not reliable. MYTH 4: No symptoms means it failed TRUTH: Many successful pregnancies have zero early symptoms. Implantation happens at a microscopic level. You will not feel it. MYTH 5: Spotting means miscarriage TRUTH: Light spotting can be normal due to progesterone irritation or implantation. Heavy bleeding with clots needs a clinic call. MYTH 6: Avoid all activity TRUTH: Walking, working, and daily tasks are fine. Avoid high intensity workouts, heavy lifting, and hot baths. MYTH 7: Stress ruins your chances TRUTH: Normal anxiety during the wait will not prevent implantation. Be gentle with yourself. MYTH 8: Change your diet drastically TRUTH: There is no magic food that improves implantation now. Eat normally, stay hydrated, and avoid alcohol. WHAT ACTUALLY MATTERS ✓ Take medications on time, especially progesterone ✓ Stay generally calm and occupied ✓ Wait the full 14 days before testing ✓ Be kind to yourself IVF is hard enough. Don’t let myths add unnecessary stress. Your embryo will either implant or it will not. Most of that is beyond your control now. You have done everything right.

Many patients ask me, “How can I increase my chances of embryo implantation?” or “What should I do after embryo transfer?” Here are 3 essential tips plus a bonus tip to boost your success rate after an embryo transfer. From sticking to your medication routine to managing stress and trusting the process, every small step matters. If you’re trying to conceive through IVF, these tips could make all the difference! 1️⃣Tip 1 : Choose the right day for embryo transfer A Day 3 or Day 5 embryo transfer is usually better than Day 2 or 4. It allows better embryo selection and improves success rates. 2️⃣Tip 2 : Follow your medication schedule strictly Hormonal support is key to preparing your uterus and maintaining a healthy environment for the embryo to implant. Never skip your prescribed meds! 3️⃣Tip 3 : Stay calm and avoid stress Your body and mind need to be in sync. High stress levels can interfere with implantation. Practice relaxation techniques like meditation or deep breathing. 4️⃣Bonus tip!! Trust your fertility specialist and avoid self-Googling 😄 Every cycle is different. Trust the plan made for you instead of comparing symptoms online. Looking for a friendly and experienced Fertility Specialist who will spend good time with you and explain everything? Before my transfer… I thought I was doing everything right. But there were a few things no one explained — and they quietly impact implantation. Here are 3 I wish I knew earlier: 1. Focusing only on the embryo A “perfect” embryo doesn’t guarantee implantation. The environment matters just as much. 2. Ignoring blood sugar + inflammation Spikes and crashes can affect uterine receptivity more than people realise. 3. Doing everything last minute Implantation isn’t just about transfer day. It’s shaped in the weeks leading up to it. This isn’t about doing more… It’s about doing the right things at the right time. That’s exactly what I broke down in a simple transfer prep plan. ✨ If your transfer is coming up — don’t guess your way into it. Yes !!! IVF is tough.....daily injections💉, regular blood tests🩸, and the stress of timing⏰️ everything perfectly. Earlier, many women had to depend on someone else to give injections every single day.😵‍💫 But today, with self-injections and thin, painless needles, treatment has become much easier. 😇 You can take your injections on your own, continue going to work👩‍💼, stay active, and live almost normally during IVF. 🏊‍♀️ You don’t have to put your whole life on hold anymore.🛌 IVF hasn’t become easy!!!but it has become easier.☺️ You don’t need to pause your life for IVF anymore.🤩 Yes, IVF is tough....But so am I🫡 #FertilityJourney #fertilityawareness #fertilitydoctors #ivfjourney #fertilitystruggles

What is an embryo SUPPOSED to look like on the day of transfer? It depends because they are constantly changing. A crucial part of conception is the process of the embryo hatching out of its shell (zona pellucida). Embryos pulse: contract and expand into to break out of the zona pellucida and attach to the uterine lining (implantation). Depending on when the embryologist takes a photo or what the embryo is doing at the time of transfer (contracting or expanding) the same embryo can look different but doing EXACTLY what it’s supposed to do for conception to occur. 6 Things Doctors Don’t Tell You That Can Make or Break Your Embryo Transfer Success 1️⃣ Inflammation levels – If your body is inflamed, your uterus isn’t in the best state for implantation. Things like gut health, food sensitivities, and even chronic stress can play a huge role. 2️⃣ Blood sugar stability – Spikes and crashes mess with hormone balance, including progesterone (which you need to support implantation). 3️⃣ Uterine receptivity timing – Just because the clinic schedules your transfer on a certain day doesn’t mean your uterus is actually ready. ERA testing can help, but not all clinics bring it up. 4️⃣ Micronutrient levels – Your body needs specific vitamins and minerals (like vitamin D, omega-3s, and magnesium) to support implantation and early pregnancy, yet this is rarely checked. 5️⃣ Autoimmune response – If your immune system is overactive, it can attack the embryo instead of allowing it to implant. There are ways to calm this down, but most doctors won’t address it unless you push for it. 6️⃣ Gut health & estrogen metabolism – If your gut isn’t clearing out excess estrogen properly, it can throw off your whole hormone balance and make implantation harder. Most fertility clinics only focus on the medical side of things. But if you want the best shot at success, you have to go deeper. Click the link in our bio to learn more about your options! 🤗 Ever wonder how IVF actually works? Here’s a breakdown of the process... 👇 IVF, or In Vitro Fertilization, is a type of assisted reproductive technology where an egg and sperm are combined outside the body, in a lab, to help increase the chances of pregnancy. While every journey is different, the general steps may include stimulating the ovaries with medication to develop multiple eggs, retrieving the mature eggs through a minor procedure, fertilizing the eggs with sperm in a carefully monitored lab environment, and transferring one or more developed embryos into the uterus. From there, many factors like timing, health, and a little bit of science-meets-hope can influence what happens next. It’s a deeply personal process, filled with emotions, decisions, and quiet strength. If you’re in this chapter right now, just know... we see you, and you’re not alone. #IVFJourney #FertilityAwareness #Surrogacy #EggRetrieval #EmbryoTransfer #hope #globalfertility #Surrogate #surrogatejourney
