MAI left the audio on for this one so that you could hear my breathing. There are three primary places that breathing through continuous motion is important in the majuscule D form of Engrosserโs Script.
1. The Majuscule Stem, which serves as a primary shade for this letter must be gracefully tapered on the top and bottom and swollen symmetrically in the center. Breathe through the shade.
2. The rising, direct hairline that crosses the Majuscule Stem at the top-right of the letter is a common place for line shake resulting from held breath and poor hand placement (limited range of the fingers). Breathe as you cross the starting hairline.
3. The synthetic shade must be placed delicately upon the baseline loop. Any deviance from the start or end of this small shade will result in an inorganic form. The goal is to create the illusion of a natural shade. Breathe in as you โlandโ on the hairline and out after you โtake off.โ
Breathe through the form. Breathe through all forms.
