"Unfortunately, people vote with their feet." CEO of JPMorgan Chase Jamie Dimon breaks down the "huge exodus" from blue states to red states, saying implementing high taxes is "hurting your own city." "Look at California versus Nevada... New York versus Florida and there's a huge exodus taking place. It's not good for the city."

Today our group stood between the paws of the Great Sphinx, inches from one of the most fascinating artifacts in all of Egypt: the Dream Stele. Our Egyptian guide walked us through the story carved into this 12-foot granite slab. Here's what happened: Around 1400 BC, a young prince named Thutmose fell asleep in the shadow of the Sphinx — which by then was buried up to its neck in desert sand. He claimed the Sphinx spoke to him in a dream, promising him the throne of Egypt if he would clear the sand away. #exodus #biblicaltour #BiblicalHistory #biblicalarchaeology #biblicalarcheology #visitegypt #EgyptianHistory #BibleIsTrue #CrossExamined #biblicaltravel Why did he need a dream to justify becoming king? Because he was never the intended heir. His older brother was the crown prince, but that brother died young. His mummy was discovered in the Valley of the Kings. He was only about 12 years old. Their father, Amenhotep II, also died. And suddenly this younger son found himself needing to explain to all of Egypt why he was now Pharaoh. The Dream Stele is that explanation. It's a divine legitimacy claim carved in stone. Now here's where it gets remarkable for students of the Bible. 1 Kings 6:1 tells us Solomon began building the temple in the 480th year after the Israelites came out of Egypt. Work backward from Solomon's fourth year of reign (~966 BC), add 480 years, and you land at approximately 1446 BC, the date of the Exodus. That's the same historical window. A firstborn son dies. A father dies. A younger prince who was never supposed to rule suddenly takes the throne and has to carve his justification into stone. The Bible tells one side of the story. The stones at Giza tell the other. This is why we don't just read about biblical history, we walk where it happened. Join us on an upcoming tour at LivingPassages.com

Bob Marley & The Wailers - Jamming (1977) Released in 1977 on the album Exodus, “Jamming” is one of Bob Marley’s most recognizable and uplifting songs. It wasn’t a major chart-topper on its own, but over time it’s become one of his defining records and a staple in reggae music. The word “jamming” here isn’t just about music, it’s about freedom, unity, and coming together. That’s really what Marley was about during this period. He had just survived an assassination attempt in Jamaica in 1976 and went into exile in London, where Exodus was recorded. That context gives the song a deeper meaning, even though it sounds light and celebratory on the surface. The groove is classic reggae. The off-beat guitar chops, the steady bassline, and that relaxed drum pattern all come together perfectly. It feels effortless, but that rhythm is what makes the song so infectious. Lyrically, it’s simple but powerful. Marley wasn’t trying to overcomplicate things, he was spreading a message that people could feel instantly. That’s why the song works in so many settings, whether you’re just listening on your own or in a crowd. This is one of those songs that captures everything people love about Bob Marley. The message, the sound, the feeling, it’s all there. Classic Tune #bobmarleyandthewailers #jamming #1977 #70s #reggae #exodus #bobmarley #thewailers #classic #tune

Archaeologists exploring the Red Sea have uncovered objects resembling ancient chariot wheels and remnants believed to align with the Biblical account of the Exodus. 🌊 While scholars continue to debate the findings, the location matches descriptions in Scripture of where Moses and the Israelites crossed and where the Egyptian army was swept away. 📖 Exodus 14:21–22 “Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the Lord drove the sea back by a strong east wind all night and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.” Whether you see this as evidence or faith affirmed, discoveries like this remind us: God’s Word has never failed. 🙏 — Follow @explainsthebible for more Biblical discoveries and archaeological evidence ✝️ — #RedSeaCrossing #BibleDiscovery #Moses #Exodus #BibleArchaeology

Said it at @therealdeal Miami forum: Mamdani's election will pour more gasoline on the wealth exodus fires. Because when have we ever gotten more of what we taxed? 🤦🏻‍♀️ Answer: never The socialist script will play out as it always has. NYC is a huge and great city, but this mayor and symbolism of his rhetoric are clearly going to be a net negative. As I have been saying since the immediate aftermath of Covid: momentum cycles are very real and wealth is increasingly mobile. Even Governor Hochul acknowledged this when she begged Palm Beach residents to come back, noting that she realized people are now less captive to their justifications. We see the effects of this economic shift in focus clearly in the upper tiers of Miami luxury real estate. And I had to take a jab at Mamdani's bench press failure. For the record, I bench more than he does. And the adage of weak men creating hard times is very true. Actually...If you are trying to destroy NYC while quoting the comminist manifesto, at least look like a tough guy and come out on cammo or something 🤷🏻‍♀️ #miamirealestate #realestateconference #mamdani #mamdani #realestateexpert

The post features a dramatic CGI clip from a biblical epic film showing Moses raising his staff to part towering walls of water in the Red Sea, captioned "I bet this is exactly what it looked like," evoking the Exodus miracle for over 1.6 million viewers. Replies reveal a polarized response, with faith-based users celebrating divine intervention and skeptics labeling the story fiction, including fringe theories like the sea becoming the Mississippi River, highlighting ongoing cultural debates on scripture. Peer-reviewed simulations by NCAR's Carl Drews (2010, PLOS One) demonstrate how 60 mph east winds could expose a 3-4 km land bridge in Egypt's ancient Reed Sea (not the deep Red Sea) for hours, offering a natural mechanism compatible with the biblical account in Exodus 14.

Moses parted the Red Sea in the Bible, as described in the Book of Exodus, chapter 14. This miraculous event occurred after the Israelites, led by Moses, had fled slavery in Egypt following the Passover and the death of the firstborn. Trapped between Pharaoh’s pursuing army and the sea, the people feared for their lives. God instructed Moses to stretch out his hand and staff over the waters. Moses obeyed, and the Lord drove back the sea with a strong east wind all night, dividing the waters so the Israelites crossed on dry ground with walls of water on their right and left. When the Egyptians followed, Moses stretched out his hand again, and the waters returned, drowning Pharaoh’s forces and delivering God’s people. This is recounted in Exodus 14:21-22: Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord drove the sea back by a strong east wind all night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. And the people of Israel went into the midst of the sea on dry ground, the waters being a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.
