They changed the rules, and they added brand new categories. 👇 THE NEW 12 MONTH RULE (Why scores will drop): Previously, you only needed 6 months of experience in a priority job to qualify for a Category Based Draw. Starting now, you must have a full 12 months of experience in that specific targeted occupation. Why this is amazing news: Half of the people in the pool just became ineligible. The competition is wiped out. If you already have 1 year of experience, your chances just doubled and CRS cut-offs will drop. 👇 THE 5 NEW CATEGORIES FOR 2026: IRCC just added 5 brand new priority sectors. If you work in these, you get to skip the general line: 1) Transport Occupations (Aviation, Mechanics, Pilots). 2) Senior Managers with Canadian experience. 3) Researchers with Canadian experience. 4) Medical Doctors with Canadian experience. 5) Skilled Military Recruits. 👇 THE PROOF (CRS of 169!): Just one day after this announcement, Canada held a targeted draw on February 19.
