FAI’ll do a long video extrapolating my thoughts on this but a lot of pushback that AI is doing the designing for us which is a possibility but really it’s an amazing tool to help us think through what we do and use the precious time we have in a working week effectively. It’s not about saving time and leaving to go home early or skipping the learning steps there’s still so much that can go wrong with enamel and so much to learn. It’s about working towards a design goal with sound direction and knowledge using these tools to help us play with ideas and imagine things before we commit to making them. This of course nothing wrong with playing with samples and we have done an enormous amount of that as well, but when we have a vision in a direction and we want to come up with a composition like any artist, you do a form study first before you move forward with a greater vision. @passthetorchjewelers @darci_shea I hope you found this interesting and I hope you’re not discouraged that AI is taking away from anybody’s craft. It’s merely a digital material library that we can leverage.
