YOI’ve heard “you’re going to burn out” more times than I can count.
Although there is some truth, here’s the thing… I actually enjoy what I do.
The roles I’m in are new, there’s so much to learn, and I get to work with people I genuinely like.
That makes a difference.
I also have a life outside of work.
Weekends are for celebrations, tennis, golf, Fortnite, or just doing something fun with the people I care about.
That’s how I recharge and it’s not by doing nothing, but by staying connected to joy.
Burnout wasn’t an option for my parents and while I am learning to not let stress control me, I also don’t see “working” equivalent to stress.
Everything moves in cycles. If I need to slow down or reset, I will.
But right now? I have momentum and I feel aligned.
