MAI feel like I need to reintroduce myself because so much of my life has changed. From my physical form, to the chemistry in my brain, my career, my relationships (even with myself), to my general day to day. Life is different now! Someone asked me recently — “Is this your new thing now, being a Mum Influencer?” It kinda stopped me in my tracks because I genuinely hadn’t given it a serious thought given that so much of my life is shared across the socials. (Lowkey had an identity crisis) I thought I was just doing my usual… Sharing life as is. But the thing is I AM A MAMA NOW ✨ And I am still everything I was too. I’m a creative/actor/producer/writer/storyteller/company executive director/Mama. I am all of those slashes, I’m still a self-employed creative, and now a mother. And I’m proud of that and I will continue to share life as is and DOING MY BEST as all of the above (not all at the same time cos let’s be realistic too).
Of course because I’m a hyper functioning human, it turns out I can be extremely busy, mind-numbingly exhausted and creatively bored at the same time. No amount of exhaustion pulls me away from my creativity and desire to tell and share stories. From here on, I’ve decided to turn my Mama specific content into a series and branding it “DOING MY BEST — New Mama: New Marianne series”. It’s for everyone who can relate, who are curious, who are interested to join my journey as a new mother doing her best in life.
To answer the question earlier — Yea, I guess I am a “Mum Influencer” now too. ✨
