Of course we want to look our best and celebrate the progress we’ve made, but there’s a cost to fixating on only the peak moments. Our minds can start to pull away from what our everyday bodies look and feel like without the poses and without the pump. This can cause us to direct our praise and love towards only the self image which we deem the most beautiful, strong, or worthy and dismiss the rest. tips for getting the most out of your training🤍⤵️ train with intensity and intent. fixating on hitting ‘12 reps’ is pointless if you could easily execute another 3 reps. this doesn’t mean you have to go to failure on every set - I incorporate training till failure in my last 1-2 sets. control the movements and make every rep count. don’t put your attention into lifting as much weight as possible. i promise it is a lot more impressive watching someone execute an exercise with perfect form than watching someone break their back deadlifting crazy weights. track your workouts to ensure you’re progressively overloading. this means no more changing your workouts every week. stick to a program for 6-8 weeks (or till you’re not progressing anymore). progressive overload can look like: - increasing the weight - increasing the reps - implement drop sets - adding pauses/ changing tempo remember, it is not about how much / how long you train - it’s about training with intent & making every rep count!😇🤍 whole fit is @dfyne.official || EM to save🫶🏽 - - - - - - - - #gymtips #gymprogress #fitness #workoutmotivation #gymgirl #musclegrowth #transformation #healthtips #gymlifestyle #workouts #formoverweight #gymform #advice #beginnergymtips

I’m not big on progress photos or fixating on the scale. However, I am all about acknowledging hard work. After taking about a year off with sporadic training, in June I decided to dedicate myself to cleaning up my eating and being more active. So I got back on the mats, picked up yoga & returned to lifting last month. No crazy dieting or extreme exercise routine. Just consistency & moderation. He wants to see you, but he seems nonchalant about spending time with you. He seems slightly interested, only to again pull away a few weeks later. The reason this is happening is that the moment you get too attached when he’s pull away, you continue to attract more and more of that energy from him. When you’re just enjoying your life, focusing on yourself, he is obsessed with you. But then, when you start to hyper-fixate on him or when he doesn’t show up for you, you’re anxious af and trying to figure out what you’re doing wrong…the only thing he can do is move away. Inside my blueprint I’m going to make it so that you’re detached, no matter what’s going on with him, so that he’s totally obsessed with you & it stays that way for good.
