These convertible lazy beds are almost too good to be true: Comfortable, cozy, functional, adjustable, aesthetic, and LARGE. Perfect for lounging, movie night, gaming, hosting family, or when you need an extra guest bed. They are well-constructed, but you probably shouldn’t let kids jump hard on them when they are in the sit up position. A light-weight frame can likely only handle so much, you know? 😉😅 Honestly? We started a floor bed when he was about 4 months old. Not because it was trendy. Because it made sense for how babies actually move and learn. He could explore safely, practice independence, and learn that sleep was something he could walk into — not something we forced. It also made night wakes easier. Instead of leaning over a crib, I could lay next to him when he needed me and leave when he settled. I’ve been wanting to make this post for a while because every time I share her bed, I get so many questions about her floor bed 🤍☺️ When she turned one, we made a change that scared me a little… we switched her from a crib to a floor bed 🛏️🙈 She had never slept through the night, and I kept wondering if she was just too young for that kind of transition. I worried it would make things worse (which is the last thing we wanted) but it ended up being one of the best decisions we’ve made for her sleep🤍. We chose a floor bed from @mimibeds , and from the very first nights, we noticed a difference. She seemed so much more comfortable, started to sleep longer stretches 🙏🏻 and she wasn’t hitting her poor little head on the railings anymore lol 🤭 What I love most is how safe and thoughtfully designed it is. Baby would go from bassinet to floor bed because it’s as easy as you watched in the video and it will have so many other benefits once he starts crawling! My newborn still sleeps in his bassinet (in my bedroom) at night, but since naps have become more challenging on the 6th week of his life, I decided to start having the naps on his own floor bed.
