🌷Celebrating Mother’s Day with a slice of (healthyish) gf cake and spring posies from @flowerbeuk FlowerBe is a small British, family-founded artisan flower delivery service specialising in Thoughtful Little Flowers. It’s got to be my favourite flower delivery service, each arrangement is so cute and sweet and includes a handwritten note. Each month FlowerBe curates a special arrangement of seasonal flowers and herbs, with this month featuring spring, pastel blooms. I’ve tagged FlowerBe if you want to check their cute little shop out. Recipe for gf sponge cake cake: - 1.5 cups plain gf flour - 1 tsp baking powder - 1 tsp baking soda - 1 tsp vanilla paste - 1/2 cup maple syrup - 2 eggs - 1/3 cup milk - 1/4 cup Greek yogurt Topping: - icing - strawberries & flower petals Method: 1. Preheat oven to 180 C 2. Grease baking tin. In a large mixing bowl, add all wet ingredients and mix. Add the dry ingredients and combine. Add mixture to baking tin. I used a smaller baking tin and it took about 30 minutes to bake. 3. Remove from oven and let cool before decorating with icing, flowers and strawberries.
