The component provides four outputs: • Color (original or original × seed mask) • Signed distance field • Normals (gradient computation) • Voronoi map If you already know the algorithm, you’ll likely find plenty of practical uses for it. i built a browser-based, GPU-accelerated visual effects engine for real-time visual art. It takes video, images, webcam, audio, and 3D, and lets me stack and reorder effects live, save presets, and export everything from quick captures to offline renders (including PNG sequences). The whole system is modular, so I can add new effects as custom modules (JavaScript + GLSL). #genuary31 , the prompt was to create a shader Prompt by @pifragile I already had a few shaders (glsl code) that I had worked on, but I wanted to start from a clean slate and I hadn't made a more free flowing movement on p5. Thought of a lot of things, stumbled upon the idea of smog, ink floating on water, etc. ended up in an ephemeral space where an orb floats around (looking back it kind of reminds me of the omega rangers or form in power rangers SPD lol) And with that genuary is over, I had a lot of sketches that I did throughout it that I'll perhaps polish and post, this year was a fun one lol made on @p5.js #newmediaart #creativecoding #art #genuary2026 [P5.js, creative coding, creative technology, biology, Nature, 3d generative pattern, generative art, interaction, graphics, JS]
