This fluoride-free toothpaste strengthens enamel and prevents cavities as effectively as fluoride - but without the potential risks. Hydroxyapatite is a naturally occurring mineral that does the same job as fluoride: repairing and protecting teeth naturally.
If fluoride is the “cure-all,” then why are cavity rates in the U.S. still on the rise? I fully acknowlege that research is mixed, but I wouldn’t share this if I hadn’t had a first hand experience. I grew up getting 1-2 cavities a year and using fluoride toothpaste morning a night. So I don’t beleive fluoride toothpaste is a cure-all. I believe in my lived experiences.
However, a few years ago after doing my own research and testing, I successfully remineralized a small cavity by using hydroxyapatite toothpaste and coconut oil pulling (2 minutes every morning and night).
Studies suggest fluoride has potential links to neurotoxicity, thyroid issues, and risks to pregnant women and kids. The problem isn’t just the fluoride in our toothpaste - it’s the combination of fluoride from toothpaste, fluoride in our water supply, and exposure through processed foods and beverages made with fluoridated water. This cumulative exposure adds up!
Our household doesn’t use fluoride toothpaste. Instead, we use @getsuperteeth which contains hydroxyapatite - the mineral that makes up 97% of your enamel and 70% of your dentin. It works by repairing micro-damage, strengthening enamel, and preventing cavities. Bonus: it’s non-toxic, safe if swallowed, and free of the foaming, burning, or tingling sensations that don’t actually help clean your teeth.

ALFluoride and high school math! At average concentrations in US drinking water, fluoride is protective for our teeth and you’d have to drink a WILD amount to run into any issues. Certain foods, salts, toothpastes, topical gels can add to a total amount so yes it IS possible to have too much fluoride but when it comes to drinking water, take a breath. You can easily check levels of your drinking water online and at the recommended 0.7mg/L, we’re not going to see any harm - only dental benefit especially in places without access to dental care.
Even for those who say “we need all natural drinking water!” Fluoride is all naturally found in groundwater. Hence, why levels are monitored to make sure there isn’t too much in various cities. See how science works?
For real when it comes to chronic disease and childhood development there are way more serious topics to discuss then drinking water.

TE🧪 Fluoride Fact Check! Yes, fluoride compounds (such as sodium fluoroacetate) have been used in certain types of pest poisons—but they are not the same compounds as the fluoride used in dental care (like sodium fluoride or stannous fluoride).
🧂Think of it like this:
Table salt = sodium chloride
Bleach = sodium hypochlorite
Both contain sodium, but they’re *completely different substances*! Salt is safe to eat. Bleach is not.
Same idea with fluoride compounds—same element involved, but totally different structures, functions, and safety.
So when someone says, “fluoride is in rat poison,” they’re using a misleading, fear-based claim that ignores basic science. Facts > Fear

Water is a mess. As a renter, this was the most practical solution, which is why I’ve used it the past 4 years.
Pros of this filter:
• Effectively removes all toxins (not just some)
• Easy to maintain
• No installation
• Perfect for renters
• Affordable - sorry, but you’re not getting quality for under $200+ now
• Affordable to replace filters
• Can take with you when move
Cons:
• Storage capacity - don’t get this if you have a family of 5/6 people; you can however get an extra jug off Amazon so you always have water.
• Because it’s a RO system, it strips out both bad toxins and beneficial minerals. You want to remineralize your water (lemon juice, salt, electrolytes - add life back to the water - not complicated). (Comment minerals for my favorites.)
As far as the filters in the video:
All are terribly ineffective at removing a wide array of contaminants (besides Berkey, maybe). There’s too much junk in our water to play guessing games. Tap water is gross:
• microplastics
• PFAS (forever chemicals)
• Flu0ride
• Pharmaceuticals
• Antibiotics
• Heavy metals
Bottled water is no better.
I want something proven to do a thorough job.
Berkey is too shady to rely on for something as important as water.
No NSF certification, some of the third party tests have come back brutal, and maintenance, installation, and priming of the filters are all way too complicated.
There’s an issue if there’s potential for a user error in installation that can result in contaminants being added to your water. Watch YouTube videos on it if you’re inclined. The brand is too shady to trust.
Water is nuanced. For me, the most important thing is getting out all the toxins. After that, I can figure out how to nourish and add minerals back into my body.
