Having a variety of large bodied, heavy flies to get down quick is imperative as our rivers swell.
A shop favorite box for winter nymphing is the Double Haul box from @fishpondusa.
It features two sides and can hold plenty of flies. One side is depressed with larger slots to hold large stoneflies. It also has the clearance to hold larger dries if need be. The other side is more shallow and is great for holding smaller flies.
Simon @fly_goddd loves to use this box for his larger nymphs for winter time. The box allows him to stay organized, and its low profile does not overcrowd his pack.
