An attempt to explore the “primordial sound” from devices (modules) that generate sound and control signals.
The creation of a virtual ecosystem through soundscapes allows one to perceive elements of biological sounds, natural sounds, and human sounds through sound changes, prompting reflection on values, aesthetic sensibilities, and self-awareness.

Broken drums being ran by Ezeptocore, Archer’s Rig handles the chirps and Monumatic in Noise mode carries the pads. Tetrachords and Proteus generate the movement while Batumi keeps nudging the patch sideways with SuperKar+ adding the plucked and string-like voice drifting through the mix. Chorus 6, Parting, and Golden Reverberator smears the edges. Captured live through Horizon, Ember, and LD. No post-processing beyond the modular chain.

DAMore fun with #eurorackmodular . It’s interesting how taking a break from something then returning to it bears new fruit. Since I have been focusing on piano playing, composing, IOS, Interim Assassin & other improv, and songs (that I sincerely hope I get to play for you before it’s too late) I have rarely tweaked the #synthesizers the last year or so. But coming back to it really opens up new ways of patching. And it has worked the other way. After synth “play” moving back to composing or developing musicality seems to open up new possibilities. Part of it I guess is just using a different part of the brain. Part is just taking a break, allowing things to stew and ferment. Also it’s the difference between work and play. Never to be underestimated. The wonders & process’ of being a human being are always fascinating to ponder.
Have to add despite the issues with Mungo modules the P0 is really another very fun worthwhile tool.
