LE📍Foxton Locks, Market Harborough (playarea behind Foxton Village Hall)
We always enjoy a trip to Foxton Locks. It is the longest staircase flight of locks for Britain and is always busy with canal boats. Every time we have been, the boys have been invited to open the locks with the support from the canal trust volunteers.
This is often a place we take visitors too to showcase Leicestershire attractions.
This time when doing a longer walk to the locks we came across a fab enclosed park with new equipment tucked behind the village hall. You can easily walk between the locks and park predominantly on the canal.
The park is more aimed for pre schoolers but it is right next a clearly visably green space with goals.

👶 Push chair friendly, best to go with a good adult to preschooler ratio so hands can held near water. Park great for early walkers
