Overly expensive and kind of gimmicky? Also yes!
I’ll say that the food was slightly better than I anticipated and the atmosphere was pretty cool. The service however left a bit to be desired and a few menu items just didn’t hit the mark at the price points in my opinion.

GIItalian street food episode 8 - FRICO
We’re going to Friuli Venezia Giulia today with the most famous Friuliano dish! Full recipe below. Thank you to my friend @lucamanfe for all the advice on how to properly execute this one!
INGREDIENTS
Montasio - 400g (200 aged + 200 young)
Potatoes - 609g
Onion - 200g
Lard - 2 tbsp
Salt - 1 pinch
Melt the lard in a non stick pan and sautee the onion for a couple of minutes with a pinch of salt.
Add the potatoes and cook while stirring and moving them around for about 7-8 minutes
Add the cheese, allow it to melt then turn the heat on medium low allowing a crust to form at the bottom
Flip and get the crust on the other side too. Let it completely cool down, then cut and eat!
