ABWhere do I even start? There is nothing I can write here that will adequately express the emotions Mark and I have been feeling the past few days. The most important feeling is a deep,deep gratitude.
We did not want to ask for help. It was so hard to accept it. But wise, caring and practical people convinced us to. It has been so overwhelming to get a sense of what people are willing to give to help us out. I am so afraid that all you won’t know how thankful we are. We are so worried we are not going to get a chance to thank each and every one of you personally. I cannot name everyone who has donated or helped us but I have to say a public thank you to @ranwein for spearheading the effort. That is a woman you want on your side when things are tough!
We have seen all the posts and amazing words and will respond to all of you. It has just been long days of repairs here and we are a little behind.
Mark is going to try to head offshore tonight to fish for just a couple of days. The boat still needs equipment replaced and work on the wiring from the strike but he wants to try to get back to work. The repairs will continue when he gets back in. He has the super critical components for a short trip -thanks to y’all!
Once again, Charleston, we very humbly say thank you. We promise to work hard and keep bringing fish to our amazing community so that we can make you proud of what you did to help Abundant Seafood.
