CA🍑 Viral Fruit Cakes are having their moment!
What started in France with the pastry genius Cédric Grolet has now taken over TikTok and gone viral across the U.S. 🇫🇷➡️🇺🇸 and then globaly🌏
In France, they’re called #trompeloeil desserts - which means “trick of the eye” - because they look exactly like real fruit! 👀✨
But don’t be fooled - most of my “fruits” are actually #minicakes : silky chocolate ganache bases (not everything is a mousse cake here) in most cases filled with fruity or nutty-chocolate centers. 🍫🍊
