Ok. Lets talk about something that happens when I let go of the ”trying to do” something. In classes I might refer to it as surrendering or softening. We can be guided into this but also sometimes it’s just naturally there. And when it is, everything feels closer. The body feels closer. Breath feels like movement. An there is this quiet hum present, like a puls. And if I can stay in that, rather than rush past it, which is also often the case, then nothing feels missing or there is no lack of anything. Which is so cool, because so much of the world runs on the feeling that something is missing. That I need something more. To achieve something. Fix something. Become something. I am sure many of you know this need… and when it shows up, I have noticed I can feel it in my body. It’s subtle, but it’s there, like a tightening. A contraction. The opposite of surrender and softness. And the times I don’t follow that reaching, if I stay… what’s already here starts to feel so alive. Not in a dramatic way. Just steady. Like a flow. In Yoga (non-dual Tantra) they call it spanda, the subtle pulse of life. It sounds big, but it’s actually very simple. It’s just this quiet aliveness that’s always present. In the breath. In sensation. In being here. And It’s not that I stop wanting things or that there is no ambition. It’s just that the urgency drops. And there’s a kind of stillness, but it’s not flat. It’s alive. And grasping softens. Oh how I love to create from that space

This Kundalini Yoga breath doesn’t just move your spine. It confronts your ego. Clench your fists. Twist left — inhale through the nose. Twist right — forceful exhale through the mouth. And suddenly: • resistance shows up • anger surfaces • control starts slipping • your solar plexus fires up Because ego hates losing control. And this breath? It shakes its grip 🔥 Why practice it? • Releases suppressed emotions (especially anger & frustration) • Activates your solar plexus — confidence & personal power • Clears energetic blocks along the spine • Balances left / right energy channels • Strengthens nervous system resilience • Helps you act from awareness — not ego reactions This is why it’s called Ego Eradicator — not because your ego disappears… but because you finally see it. Try 3 minutes. Notice what comes up. #kundalini #kundaliniyoga #energy #kundalinienergy

STOP SCROLLING ✨ This is your reminder that energy is not something you wait for — it’s something you create. Every breath, every movement, every moment of presence shifts your nervous system and changes how you show up in the world. When I move my body with intention, I don’t just stretch muscles — I realign my inner world. ✨ Calm invites calm ✨ Joy attracts joy ✨ Grounded energy creates clarity This is the essence of my practice: coming home to yourself, again and again. No forcing. No fixing. Just gentle movement, breath, and trust. 💫 I create the energy I want to attract. Tell me — what energy are you choosing today? 🌿 #NalaniYoga #CreateYourEnergy #NervousSystemRegulation #MindfulMovement #YogaLifestyle

Many times I feel like an observer in my own life. Like Shiva as Nataraja, dancing the Tandava on a thin line between creation and destruction. And as I begin to trust the dance, I realize how much control I actually have. Not to change what is written. But to choose *fully* how it shapes me. It’s not magic. It’s surrender. It’s absolute trust. Sometimes what we want doesn’t arrive when we want it. We think we are being rejected. Maybe we are simply not ready to hold it yet. And until we are, rejection feels constant. Failure feels personal. That is where most people quit. No. That is exactly where you must let go, and find a new way to dance. PS: flowing with THE spiritual diva is always a pleasure @sza 🤍

Honestly… just stop trying so hard. Stop searching everywhere outside of yourself for the answer. Your body is already intelligent. It already knows a lot more than you think. Sure, listen to inspiring people. Spend time with good friends. Learn things that light you up. But also… Relax. Relax into the present moment. Relax into the body you already have. Relax into the life that’s already here. Enjoy it. Be grateful for it. That’s it. From that place, more naturally comes. More clarity. More knowledge. More embodiment. More life. But it starts here. Just being here. Can you do that? #embodiment #awakening #movement #tantra #dance

Some spaces don’t just hold classes… they hold people. Teaching Kundalini Yoga at beautiful @bodhieden.epsom feels like stepping into a sanctuary — where you can breathe deeper, soften more, and remember yourself again. Grateful for this studio, this energy, and every soul who walks through the door.

The first time I attended a Kundalini Yoga class and everyone started singing at the end, I thought it was a little strange. Most people expect a quiet meditation, maybe an “Om,” or simply saying “Namaste.” But singing together is actually how we close a Kundalini Yoga practice. The voice plays an important role in this tradition. Using the voice gently stimulates the vagus nerve, helping the body settle and integrate the experience of the practice. We sing the closing song three times: • The first round is for ourselves, receiving the benefits of the practice and filling our own cup. • The second round is for someone who may need a little extra love or support. • The third round is offered to the world. Over time, what once felt unfamiliar can become deeply moving. Practices like this help shift us out of disconnection and back into presence, reconnecting us with our breath, our body, and each other. This is what you would experience inside a Kundalini Yoga class. #kundaliniyoga #nervoussystemregulation #vagusnerve #mindbodyconnection #embodiedpractice

One thing I love about my job is the huge variety of things that I do. I teach yoga, I’m responsible for the studios finances, I set up audiovisual, I set up live stream, I work on software, I do customer service, I even mop the floors. Actually cleaning is my favorite part. This week has been especially challenging with multiple snow days virtual yoga, launching a new software and my normal tasks. But in my classes, we’ve been focusing on Natraj, the Lord of the dance. I love the imagery and the message behind flowing in life as we move through the natural stages of creation and destruction. All while eliminating our obstacles to enlightenment - the klehsas. Dance on friends.
