ALOh boy this scene took a lot longer than I expected. Slowly picking up momentum as I get used to the code logics and C# + Unity library…
BUT I am embarrassed by the phenomenal amount of code clutter I have created.

How would you have gone about coding this scene?

My take on it included about 6 separate script files, separated female and male prefabs with separate prefabs on hair type and replaced the sprite image in the hierarchy.

I’d love to get some feedback and expert advice. I don’t wanna spend forever perfecting my code as a nuby but I want to move forward knowing how I can improve

I’ve been working with @figma , an incredible (and free!) tool for crafting professional UI systems. Having a clear and intuitive user interface is essential for creating a seamless gaming experience, and Figma helps bring my vision to life!
Here’s how it’s coming together:
1⃣ Organizing Ideas: With a little help from ChatGPT, I structured the game flow, mapped out the character’s journey, and brainstormed ways to make the game as fun as possible.
2⃣ Icon Design: I designed cute and functional icons to match the game’s style and placed them strategically to ensure smooth navigation.
3⃣ Visual Preview: Seeing it all come together in Figma is like catching a glimpse of the game’s personality—it’s so satisfying!
The star of the game, Pp, is a character you’ll love interacting with. 💕 Whether you’re helping her stay healthy, decorating her space, or planning a fun film night, it’s all about creating the life you’d love to live. 🏡✨
