It is a masterpiece of custom engineering, built from scratch using heavy-duty steel and industrial components. ​The arm works using high-pressure hydraulics, the same technology found in massive construction excavators. This allows it to move with extreme precision while carrying enough force to crush a car. ​In this experiment, the creator tested the arm's power against an Electric Vehicle (EV). After a long process… this was the first time it actually worked. I followed the open source project LeRobot SE101 from huggingface and built it from scratch. Ordered the servos, motor controller and power supply, 3D printed all parts, assembled everything, set up Modbus communication, assigned servo IDs and calibrated the motors… This is my real reaction when it finally worked. In the next days I’ll show how I built it step by step + what I’m planning next. #robotics #opensource #engineering #3dprinting #building
