The global keyword in Python declares a variable as belonging to the global scope, making it accessible and modifiable from both inside and outside functions. It allows functions to operate on and modify variables defined outside their local scope.
In this example :
'apple_count' is a global variable representing the total number of apples.
The function buy_apple increments the global variable apple_count each time an apple is purchased.
After buying apples, we print the total.
The function check_apples creates a local variable local_apple_count as a copy of the global apple_count. and it adds one to the local variable.
