I've been adding it to my smoothies over the past year and have found that it consistently lowers my postprandial blood glucose levels by up to 12 units. It also has a positive effect on my fasting blood glucose levels.  Moringa oleifera is a plant that is nutritionally rich and with a high polyphenol content in the form of phenolic acids, flavonoids, and glucosinolates. It is high in the isothiocyanate moringin, which has similar properties to the isothiocyanate sulforaphane. It is also a great source of several micronutrients. Several randomized controlled trials have shown that moringa powder exerts a significant reduction on blood glucose levels in both healthy individuals as well as in people with type 2 diabetes.
