🛑 Type 1: Not for Beginners!
If you’re a beginner and have never done a multi-day trek, Goechala is not for you! 🚫 No matter how breathtaking it looks on Instagram, this trek comes with serious challenges. If a trekking company tells you it’s beginner-friendly, just say, “I have Google to explore.” 😉
🚷 Type 2: Restricted Entry
Citizens of China, Myanmar, and Bangladesh are not allowed on this trek. ❌ You’ll need a permit from KNP, so carry your documents. 📜 Unfortunately, if you hold a passport from these countries, you cannot do this trek.
🌿 Type 3: Nature Lovers Only!
If you’re someone who litters, plucks flowers, or disturbs nature, stay away. 🚯❌ The people of Sikkim take their environment seriously, and trust me, they won’t hesitate to call you out! 😤 If you’re caught making bonfires or damaging the flora and fauna, be ready to pay a hefty fine. 💸
