I get this question all the time.
Not 2 months.
Not 6.
Not 8.
Not 12.
Not 16.
Not 18.
It took exactly 24 months💪👌
And yes, it was worth waiting🤍
I didn’t want to cut my hair short, so I chose patience.
Time passed anyway.
But something more important happened in between.
I got to know myself♥️
I saw a different woman – braver, more mature, more real♥️
That was the story.
Although… it’s still being written.
Because I’m still growing.
And I’m enjoying life more than ever💜

SAThe comments have been… interesting (and not surprising).
From being told I’ll “age terribly” to being told I should wait a decade to be myself, the opinions have been loud.
And honestly? Even my daughters were worried at first. My eldest didn’t want me looking ‘older’ than all the other mums at school. That one stung.
But I stayed the course. I kept the silver. And the shift has been pretty cool (most of the time).
Now, instead of worrying about the ‘other mums,’ they’re excited. They told me they can’t wait until I have long silver hair ‘like a fairy.’ 🧚♀️
Turns out, they just needed to see me stick to my guns and stop hiding. If they can see the magic in the transition, I’m definitely not listening to the fear-mongering from the peanut gallery.
The opinions are noted. The frizzy ends are gone in 48 hours (fresh hair - so good!). The magic is just starting.
