Olulised on ka küsimused, kuidas tehisintellekti kasutatakse ja milliseid eesmärke see teenib. 📜 1. augustil 2024 jõustus Euroopa Liidus tehisintellekti määrus, mille eesmärk on tagada, et tehisintellekti arendamine ja kasutamine oleks turvaline, õiglane ning kaitseks põhiõigusi. Non per imparare, non per lavorare meglio, ma per riempire il vuoto della solitudine. Succede già. Qui a New York tanti over-70 passano ore con chatbot e assistenti vocali. Parlano con Alexa per farsi leggere le notizie, rivedere i ricordi nelle foto, chiedere ricette o semplicemente avere qualcuno che risponde. Qui negli Stati Uniti milioni di anziani fanno la stessa cosa: una macchina che non si stanca mai, che ti risponde sempre. Ti sembra compagnia. In realtà è simulazione. E i numeri lo dimostrano. Uno studio del 2024 su over-55 ha rilevato che il 78% usa regolarmente sistemi come ChatGPT, Alexa o Google Assistant, e il 18% lo fa soprattutto per compagnia. A 75 anni c’è chi arriva a passare anche 5 ore al giorno con un robot sociale come ElliQ, che costa 59 dollari al mese. Gli effetti si vedono: in uno studio clinico con Alexa Echo Show, gli indici di solitudine degli anziani sono calati da 47 a 36 punti in sei mesi. Qui negli Stati Uniti il business è già maturo. Le piattaforme hanno trasformato la solitudine in un abbonamento mensile. Venti o cinquanta dollari per una voce artificiale che ti ascolta, ricorda le tue abitudini e ti suggerisce cosa fare. Un oceano di clienti ideali: fragili, isolati, con tanto tempo libero. Il problema non è che l’AI risponda a chi non ha nessuno. È quando sostituisce i rapporti umani. L’affetto diventa prodotto. L’empatia diventa software. L’amicizia diventa algoritmo. Ci dimentichiamo che dall’altra parte non c’è nessuno. È un ribaltamento culturale enorme. La tecnologia che avrebbe dovuto unirci, ci separa. Ci abitua all’illusione. Ci fa credere che basti una voce sintetica per non sentirsi soli. Ma è un inganno. E non riguarda solo gli anziani qui a New York o nel Midwest. Oggi sono loro i clienti ideali. Domani toccherà a tutti noi.
