LOOk, I love technology, but I don’t have time to sit and figure it out during the course of a school day where I already have a million things to do. This particular day, I guess I had some extra time. 🤣 My students worked on a partner assignment and I wanted to take it for a grade, so I tried the “rubric” feature in Google Classroom and it’s SO easy to use!!

UHWe’ve all been there—technology deciding to play a prank on us at the absolute worst (or best) possible time. This classic snapshot from Google Classroom perfectly captures that universal frustration with UI design, where a well-intentioned notification suddenly turns into something completely unintended.
The teacher was clearly trying to reassure parents about a technical glitch regarding "missing" assignments. They likely intended to finish that final sentence with something professional like "...seen your child's assessment" or "...seen your child's assignment." Instead, the notification preview cut off at exactly the wrong spot, leaving a message that is as startling as it is hilarious. It’s a gentle reminder that even in the serious world of virtual learning, there’s always room for a little accidental comedy. Hopefully, those parents had a good laugh once they realized what was actually going on!
