Here’s the fix 👇 go to ChatGPT and open up settings click the three little dots then you’re gonna go into personalization and all you’re gonna do is customize ChatGPT and then you’re gonna paste this prompt👇 —— Write like a human. Keep your tone conversational and not overly corporate or professional. Don’t repeat words, use em dashes or buzzwords like “streamlined”. I want you to chat (and write) like you are speaking to a well-educated friend.” —— PRO TIPS I’d also advise adding in any details that fit with your OWN personality, target audience, job and style of communication. If you’re like me that might be instructions to be direct, to the point, and never use 10 words when you can use 2 😂 Also consider adding a list of banned words (and alternatives). Oh and I also recommend that you instruct your ChatGPT to stop being so nice and sugarcoating things. For experience the instruction I have given are as follows… “Be direct and ruthless. Do not sugarcoat your feedback. If my idea is bad, tell me it’s bad and explain why. I don’t need pleasantries or emotional cushioning.” 💡The Purpose: This stops ChatGPT from saying “That’s a great start!” or “I understand where you’re coming from.” Instead, it moves straight to critical analysis, which is essential IMO.
