RUAnyone else choose minimalist patterns only to add things to them? 😂
I explored a few ideas to customize my Great Lakes Pullover by @ozetta - everything from gradients to polka dots - but in the end, I didn’t want to upstage the pretty pink.
So I decided to embroider it with a simple blanket stitch along the boarders using some scrap, hot pink yarn I had.
I love how this simple accent transformed this popular pullover pattern into something a little more unique.
Also, can I just say that after a three decade long career of wearing all black all the time, I’m really enjoying having more colour in my wardrobe!
It’s mood boosting to wear (and to knit).

WIKidding kidding. There were only a few curse words when I had to re-knit an entire sleeve because of my own negligence 🫠. The @ozetta Lakes pullover is quite literally my favorite sweater pattern that I’ve knit to date. Such great construction and easy to follow pattern. I plan to size up on my next one for a more oversized feel à la @babaa .
Pants are also made by me in @fableism checkmate and the @elizsuzann Florence pants pattern. 💋
