Schwarzhorn is probably the easiest 3,000-meter peak to conquer in Switzerland (with no climbing required). You start from a mountain pass, where a roughly 4-hour mountain adventure awaits you. 🌍 Location: Flüela Pass, canton of Graubünden/Grisons, Switzerland 📍Starting point: Flüela Pass 📍End point: Flüela Pass 📍Loop: no, but it's a there and back type of hike 📍Directions: Flüela Pass -> Schwarzhornfurgga -> Schwarzhorn 3147 – Schwarzhornfurgga -> Flüela Pass 🥾 Up: 820 m 🥾Down: 820 m 🥾 Length: 8 km 💰 Price: free! 🏞 Great views: Absolutely! Few layers of mountain ranges are visible! 🥘 Restaurant: Yes, but only at Flüela Pass (check opening hours!) 🟠 Level: Medium. The first half of the trail is a steady ascent that is technically manageable and relatively easy. However, the second half becomes much steeper. The terrain is rocky and exposed in places, and you may encounter snow, even during the summer months. Additionally, the hike reaches a significant altitude, so it is important to be aware that some hikers may experience some altitude-related issues. ❗️TIP: ● Take good hiking shoes with you and something that protects you from wind. Infos ⬇️ Bienvenue dans l’univers du célèbre roman « Heidi » de Johanna Spyri 🐐 Pour être honnête on s’est arrêté pour faire notre pause lors de notre voyage en Engadine. C’était l’endroit parfait niveau timing. Je pensais que c’était un peu « l’arnaque à touristes » … Mais je me suis bien trompée ! On a trouvé super sympa !!! Tout est très bien fait, très joli et dans un décors sublime (merci les montagnes) À faire une fois absolument 👌🏻Même les garçons ont eu bcp de plaisir 🤗 On s’est arrêté vers 12h30, et il y avait très peu de monde …on a eu bcp de chance, car c’est très touristique et il y a souvent des cars déjà sur place … ⛰️ Ici, tu peux visiter la maison de Heidi, authentiquement reconstituée, la cabane d’alpagas où vivait Heidi pendant l’été, l’Etable de l’Hôtel de Ville, l’école du village, la place du village avec les chèvres et les poules et découvrir la vie traditionnelle à la montagne, et profiter de paysages alpins à couper le souffle ! 🧀 Il y a aussi des ateliers (à voir le programme sur le site internet) comme : le filage de laine, fabrication de fromage au feu ou préparation de pommade à base de plantes 📮✨ Le savais-tu ? Heididorf abrite aussi la plus petite poste de Suisse ! Elle se trouve dans la boutique souvenir et fonctionne comme une vraie poste — timbres, cachets, cartes postales… tout y est, en version miniature 😍 📍 Où ? No blinking. No talking. Just judgment. At this point I’m not hiking anymore, I’m the main character in a cow documentary titled: “Suspicious Human Spotted in the Wild.” Was it slightly creepy? Yes.
