JIalways record a hackathon demo video 🎥
one thing i picked up after going to a lot of hackathons is that you should always document and submit a demo video.
here’s why:
1️⃣ it serves as backup in case your app crashes. live demos are the priority, but if something seriously bad happens, you’ll have a clean demo video with working features to showcase.
2️⃣ some hackathons have online judges they don’t explicitly tell you about. Having a video of your demo sets you apart from projects that are just explained with text.
3️⃣showcasing to others in the future. Any opportunities that arise where you need to demonstrate skills, you will have a video to pull up.
