He just is aware of my lupus and what it does. He wasn’t being disrespectful. We are a sarcastic joking family. A lot of people were worried about him and my wife’s tan. We wear sunblock. They get that tan in like 2 weekends and then it stays that way and they don’t burn. But we still block up. We are outdoorsy boating family. It is what it is! Everyone chooses their own “cancer” to be honest. Like food, alcohol, sun, etc. It’s for my lupus, I can go in the sun, just not as long as I used to and not without block. I’m Italian and used to get real tan but now they put me to shame bc I’m extra careful or it aggravates my lupus symptoms, like my rashes or joints or fatigue. No my wife and kids are not mixed at all. The kids are half Italian, but that’s it. They just have great skin tone. Everyone but me is bilingual though. Fun fact!
